Jan Bauer, M.A., earned Masters degrees in literature at the Sorbonne, and Adult education at Boston University. A graduate of the Jung institute of Zürich, she lives and practices in Quebec and teaches Jung groups throughout the U.S. and Canada. Former Chair of Admissions and Director of training for the inter Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, her publications include Alcoholism and Women and Impossible Love.

Jean Shinoda Bolen, M.D., internationally known Jungian analyst, who draws from spiritual, feminist, Jungian and medical experience, is a Psychiatrist and professor at the University of California Medical Center, San Francisco. Among her many publications are Gods in Everyman; Close to the Bone; The Millionth Circle; Crones Don’t Whine and Urgent Message From Mother: Gather the Women, Save the World.

Julie Bondanza, Ph.D., is a Jungian analyst and clinical psychologist licensed in new York and Maryland. Dr. Bondanza is former Director of training at the Philadelphia Seminar of the Inter Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, has taught extensively both in public forums and in the training of individuals studying to become Jungian analysts, and has served on the Board of the C.G. Jung institute of New York.

Jeanne Bresciani, Ph.D., is Director of education for the Isadora Duncan International Institute. Dr. Bresciani directs programs on behalf of the NYU School of Education, harkness Dance Center of the 92nd Street Y, and Isadora Duncan international institute. A former Fulbright scholar in dance, she performs internationally and is a choreographer and creator of festivals—specializing in dance, myth and movement studies.

Joe Cambray, Ph.D., is a Jungian analyst in Boston and Providence, Rhode island, former President of the Jung Institute, Boston, and faculty member at harvard Medical School (Psychiatric Dep’t. Mass. General Hospital). Among his many publications are “Synchronicity and Emergence;” “Reconsidering Imitation (in Who Owns Jung)” and co-editor of Analytical Psychology: Contemporary Perspectives in Jungian Psychology.

Michael Conforti, Ph.D., Jungian analyst, founder and director of the Assisi Conferences, is actively investigating the workings of archetypal fields. Dr. Conforti lectures internationally on Archetypal Pattern Analysis and applies his work to government institutions, business, and the film industry. his publications include Field, Form and Fate: Patterns in Mind, Nature & Psyche and Threshold Experiences: The Archetype of Beginnings.

Melanie Starr Costello, Ph.D., Jungian analyst in private practice in Washington, D.C., earned her doctorate in the history and literature of Religions from northwestern University. A former Assistant Professor of history, she has taught and published on the topics of psychology and religion, medieval spirituality, and clinical practice, including Imagination, Illness and Injury: Jungian Psychology and the Somatic Dimensions of Perception.

Allen D. Koehn, D.Min., MFT, is a Jungian analyst in private practice and is a core faculty member of the Pacifica Graduate institute in California. the former executive Director of the C.G. Jung institute of los Angeles, Dr. koehn has taught and lectured nationally and internationally on Jungian themes including typology, relationships, and the archetype of the trickster.

Thomas Patrick Lavin, Ph.D., who holds Ph.D.s in Clinical Psychology and theology, is a Zürich trained Jungian analyst and licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Wilmette, illinois. Formerly Chief Clinical Psychologist in charge of drug and alcohol abuse treatment in the U.S. Army in Europe, Dr. Lavin, whose area of expertise is religion and spirituality in a clinical context, is a founding member of the Jung institute of Chicago.

Mary Ellen O’Hare-Lavin, Ph.D., an Illinois Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, has worked in hospitals and drug treatment centers, and has lectured internationally on addictions, relationship issues, psychological type, and women’s spirituality. Dr. O’Hare-Lavin has a clinical practice in Wilmette, illinois and teaches Psychology at Oakton Community College.

Stephen A. Martin, Psy.D., Jungian analyst and clinical psychologist in private practice in Ardmore, PA, is President and co-founder of the Philemon Foundation. Dr. Martin is an avid collector, acknowledged expert and author on the life and work of Archibald knox, one of the great British decorative artists of the early twentieth century. He consults frequently with the major auction houses on matters dealing with knox’s work.

Ann Belford Ulanov, Ph.D., is a Jungian analyst in private practice in New York City, a member of the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association, and Christiane Brooks Johnson Professor of Psychiatry and Religion at Union Theological Seminary. Dr. Ulanov is the author of numerous books and articles, the latest of which are The Unshuttered Heart: Opening to Aliveness and Deadness in the Self, and The Living God and Our Living Psyche

The New York Center for Jungian Studies organizes, plans and produces conferences, seminars and events, based on the teachings of Carl Jung (CG Jung). Our Jungian seminars and conferences are held worldwide, including the following countries and cities: United States of America, New York, Rhinebeck, Dublin, Killarney, Kilkenny, Ireland, Israel. Our Jung on the Hudson Summer Seminar Series is held annually during the summer months. Our Annual Jung in Ireland event is held in Ireland every spring.

Aryeh Maidenbaum, Ph.D., is a former faculty member of NYU where, for many years, he taught courses on Jungian psychology. From 1982-1993 he was the Executive Director of the C.G. Jung Foundation of New York. A graduate of the Jung Institute of Zurich, he is a contributing author to Current Theories of Psychoanalysis (Robert Langs, ed.) and has written and co-authored several books and articles including “The Search for Spirit in Jungian Psychology,” “Psychological Type, Job Change and Personal Growth,” and "Lingering Shadows: Jungian, Freudians and anti-Semitism." His latest book, Jung and the Shadow of Anti-Semitism, is a collection of essays he has edited on this subject.
